Michael Allen Carter, 53

Michael Carter, 53, passed away on Feb. 7, 2012 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.

Michael was born June 6, 1958 in Bell Garden, Calif., to Thurman Alvin and Mattie (Ward) Carter.

Michael was a resident of Ava for several years and was employed by Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava as a licensed CNA.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Carter, Ava, Mo.; his step-father, Charles Wright, Ava; and two brothers.

Visitation for Michael will be in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the date and time to be announced.
