County Democratic Mass Meeting, Caucuses Slated

Teresa Tost, chair of the Douglas County Democratic Committee said this week that the county mass meeting will be held on March 29 and the Congressional Delegation Caucuses will be held on April 26.

Tost said the location of the county meeting has not been set at this time but will be announced prior to the meeting.

In the meantime, the next meeting of the Douglas County Democrats will be March 6 and 5:30 p.m. at Larkin’s Restaurant in Ava.

Only those registered Democrats who voted in the Feb. 7 Presidential Preference Primary may be delegates at the future conventions. However, any registered voter may participate in the caucuses.
