Brett Riley Crewse, 23
Brett Riley Crewse, 23 years, passed away on Jan. 26, 2012 at St. John’s Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
Brett was born Nov. 29, 1988 in Springfield, Mo., to Len Crewse and Jennie Johnson.
Brett lived most of his life in Ava, Mo. He graduated from Ava High School. He was a sales manager at Car Country in Springfield, Mo. Brett was a Christian and saved at an early age at First Freewill Baptist Church at Mtn. Grove, Mo. He was full of life. He loved cars, playing cards and pool. Brett enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Brett was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Doy Price, great-grandmother, Mildred Branson and an uncle Jamie Black.
Brett is survived by his mother, Jennie Johnson, Ava, Mo; his father Len and wife, Terri Crewse, St. Peters, Mo.; five brothers and sisters, Emily Crewse and Arizona Sallee both of Ava, Mo., Bryce, Whitney and Trent Crewse, all of St. Peters, Mo.; his maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Wanda Johnson, Ava; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Marilyn Crewse, Graff, Mo.; grandparents, Jim and Sandy Ward, Ozark, Mo.; maternal great-grandmother, Emogene Price, Ava, Mo.; great-grandmother, Audry Fletcher, Ozark, Mo.; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Brett were Monday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo., with burial in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering at the funeral home.
