The South Central Cattlemen’s Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply in West Plains.

A steak dinner will be provided to members and spouses, compliments of Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply.  Memberships may be purchased at the door.  Members are encouraged to notify Hirsch at 417-256-3740 or Wayne Nichols at 417-252-7071 to indicate the number attending.

Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Executive Vice-President Jeff Windett from Columbia will be the featured speaker.  A by-laws change and election of officers and directors will be conducted.

This will be a great opportunity for area cattlemen to ask questions about their industry and the state organization.

South Central Cattlemen’s Association was organized in 2009 serving cattle producers in Howell, Ozark, Douglas, Oregon and Shannon counties.  The purpose of the Association is to advance economic, educational, political and social interests of the Missouri Cattle Industry.

All cattle producers, business associates, and members are encouraged to attend. For additional information contact Wayne Nichols, president, at 417-277-5420 or email stockfarm @socket.net.
