The secret to feeling better and living longer is called staying active. Regular exercise can prevent or delay diabetes and heart trouble. It can also reduce arthritis pain, anxiety and depression. It can help the elderly stay independent. Walking, swimming or riding a bike improves the health of the heart and circulatory system. Stretching exercises can reduce the chance of a fall. Strengthening exercises will build muscle tissue and reduce muscle loss.
We appreciate the Herald for their Christmas gift.
Our book exchange is going really well. People are bringing in books every day and others taking them to read. Some are looking for more westerns and Louis L’Amour if you have some to share.
Until next week, have a good one!
