A jury trial has been set here in January 2009 for Daniel D. Guilbeault, 41, of Ava. Guilbeault is charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges against Guilbeault involve the death of Justen Willey, 15, of Ava, who died in a one-vehicle wreck on Route K northwest of Ava in Douglas County on Aug. 19, 2007. Also injured in that wreck were Guilbeault and another passenger in the car he was driving, Rachel Willey, 13, of Ava. The trial is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Jan. 20, 2009, in Douglas County Circuit Court with 44th Circuit Court Judge John Moody presiding.
