Police Seeks Help From Public

Feb 28, 2008

The Ava Police Dept. is asking for help from the public in solving four burglaries which have occurred in Ava since Feb. 18.

Police received reports of a residential burglary on Feb. 18, on NW 5th Ave.; a business burglary on Feb. 21 at Giddy Up Go Garage on SW 13th Ave.; a business burglary at The Coffee Cafe on East Washington Ave.; and another business burglary on Feb. 26 at KT Garage on East Washington.

All burglaries involved forced entry to the structures and were similar in nature with items stolen. The Ava Police Department is requesting assistance from the public for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects involved.
