Missouri State University, Springfield, has released a revised dean’s list for the spring semester. Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean's list. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Of the 13,651 degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled during the spring 2008 semester, 3,691 earned a spot on the list. Douglas County students on the dean's list include Susan R. Cummins, Joe R. Manietta and Larrea A. Moreno, and Lyndsey N. (Porter) Reese, all from Ava. Ozark County students include Mark A. Brown, Phillip L. Hartley and Pamela J. Luna, all of Gainesville; and Luke A. Wacholtz, from Thornfield.
