Preschool and kindergarten screening will be held this Friday and Saturday at Ava Elementary School. Screening and enrollment was scheduled last week, on Friday and Saturday, but had to be postponed after a tornado ripped through town, leaving the entire city, including the school, without power. Parents will keep the same appointment schedules they were given last week unless arrangements have been made with the school for a change. All screening will be done in the elementary gym. Anyone who needs to contact the school about their appointment for screening should call 417-683-5450. On the day of your child's appointment you will need to bring the following (for both preschool and kindergarten enrollment): 1. Shot records 2. Birth certificate 3. Proof of residency 4. Health insurance information 5. Your child's Social Security card.
