Baseball Bears Seeded Fifth
The Ava High School Bears will begin play this Saturday in the Missouri Class 3 District 10 baseball tournament at Marshfield.
Despite a current record of 18-2, the Bears have been seeded fifth in the tournament and will face No. 4 West Plains at 2 p.m. Saturday. A win on Saturday would likely pit the Bears against No. 1 Rogersville at 4:30 Monday.
The championship game will be played at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Teams in the tournament (by ranking) include Rogersville, Springfield Catholic, Marshfield, West Plains, Ava, Buffalo, Mtn. Grove and Mtn. View-Liberty.
