Pre-school, Kindergarten Enrollment May 2, 3
Ava Elementary kindergarten and pre-school enrollment and screening will be held Friday evening, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, in the elementary gym. Screening times on Friday will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Screening will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
If your child will be 5 years old before Aug. 1, 2008, he/she will be eligible for kindergarten. Children must be 3 or 4 years old before Aug. 1 to be eligible for preschool.
Please call the elementary school (683-5450) to make an appointment. On the day of your child's appointment you will need to bring the following (for both preschool and kindergarten enrollment):
1. Shot records
2. Birth certificate
3. Proof of residency
4. Health insurance information
5. Your child's Social Security card.
