Ava FBLA Students Earn Awards at
Several students from Ava High School FBLA Chapter attended the Future Business Leaders of America District Leadership Conference on Thursday, March 6, on the Missouri State University campus in West Plains.
The chapter had 20 students attend the conference which consisted of competitive events, leadership workshops and an awards ceremony.
Ava students earning awards are listed below.
1st place Management Decision Making, Wil Shrable and Jake Rieken; 1st place Business Math, Sierra Sharp; 1st place Accounting II, Nichole Eaves; 2nd place Introduction to Business, Helaman Higley; 2nd place Network Design, Josh Crosby, Matthias Dever, Brian Heier; 3rd place Ms. Future Business Leader, Danielle Cheyney; 3rd place Spreadsheet Applications, Ariel Lathrom; 3rd place Introduction to Business Communications, Shannan Evans; 4th place Word Processing II, Julie Snelson; 4th place Impromptu Speaking, Wil Shrable; 5th place Business Communications, Caitlin Elliott; 5th place Introduction to Business, Sierra Sharp.
Wil Shrable, Jake Rieken, Nichole Eaves, Sierra Sharp, and Helaman Higley will be competing at the state competition April 20-22 in Columbia.
