Noretta “Kay” Miller, the daughter of Gordon E. Wall Sr. and Lennie G. Narramore Wall, was born Sept. 6, 1940, in Napa, Calif., and departed this life June 27, 2008 at the age of 67 years 9 months and 21 days. Kay was a resident of the Ava area for the past 12 years moving here from New Mexico. Before retirement she was employed as a bank manager. Kay and Philip E. Miller were united in marriage Aug. 23, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nev. She loved her home and was a great homemaker and gardener. She was also a great secretary and enjoyed her bookwork. Kay was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Philip E. Miller, of the home, Ava; one son, Gary and Susan Crawford, Moreno Valley, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Debra Gale Davis, Arroyo Grande, Calif.; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kyle Crawford; a brother, Gordon E. Wall Jr., San Jose, Calif.; and other relatives and friends. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Ava.
