Lloyd Wayne Moore, 78, of Nixa, went into the open arms of his Savior Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Mansfield the son of Oscar and Ruth (Davis) Moore. He served his country as a U.S. Marine. On Sept. 9, 1950, he and Yvonne Haskins were united in marriage. Mr. Moore was a retired builder and carpenter. He was a member of Nixa Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; three sons, Kenneth and wife Twila and their sons, Tyler and Austin; Terry and his son, Trey and wife, Jill; and Jeffrey and wife, LeAnn, and their sons, Lucas and Lance; two brothers, Delbert, Springfield, and Robert, of Ava; two sisters, Ruby Buchanan, and Virginia Linder, both of Ava; and two half brothers, Harold and Roy. His parents preceded him in death as well as a brother, Clifford. A graveside funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, in McConnell Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
