Shirley Mae Harrington, 77

Memorial services for Shirley Mae Harrington, 77, West Plains, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, at the family farm, Willow Springs.

Mrs. Harrington died 3:05 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2008 in Brooke Haven HealthCare.

She was born March 26, 1930 in Tenino, Wash., to Wilfred Joseph and Ellen Electra Rogers Tessier. Before her retirement, Mrs. Harrington worked in Social Services in the State of Alaska. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge at Ava.

She is survived by two children, Melody Gilbert and husband, Kenny, Willow Springs, and David Piessner and wife, Kelly, North Pole, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Tessier and wife, Velma, Bucoda, Wash., and John Tessier, Missoula, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, one child, Richard Coleman, one grandson, Jason Dotson and two brothers, James and Jim Tessier, preceded her in death.

Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
