Douglas County Public Library

Mar 24, 2005

The mural in the children's wing of the Douglas County Public Library is now complete. Judy Heier did a great job using a jungle theme. Be sure to take a look on your next library visit.

We have been busy planning our summer schedule of events, and Janet Ariciu will kick off our special events with a genealogy workshop sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution entitled, "Now What Do I Do?" This will be Thursday, April 7, at 7 p.m., at the Douglas County Public Library. It will be geared for those people who have been gathering family history information and want to move forward with their research. Everyone is invited to come. Admission is free.

Among the new books at the library you will find:

FICTION
The Broker, John Grisham; I'll Be Watching You, by Andrea Kane; The Glass Virgin, by Catherine Cookson; State of Fear, by Michael Crichton; The Last Disciple, by Hank Hanegraaf; Come Spring, by Tim LaHaye; Shades of Red, by Doris Mortman; Shadowmarch, by Tad Williams; Night Fall, by Nelson DeMille; Beauty for Ashes, by Win Blevins; Second Time Around, by Nancy Moser; The Real Mother, by Judith Michael; Survivor in Death, by J. D. Robb; Blood Memory, by Greg Iles; Honeymoon, by James Patterson; and Suspicion of Rage, by Barbara Parker.
