Database Software To Be Offered

A training program on the popular Microsoft Access data base program will be offered by the Douglas County Extension program on Tuesday night, March 8 and Thursday night March 10.

Topics to be covered in the six-hour training program will include:
–Creating Databases
–Working with fields and records
–Querying tables
–Creating and using forms
–Creating and using reports

Instructor for the program will be Mick Gilliam, Regional Specialist with University of Missouri Extension. Class times will be 6 to 9 p.m. each evening. Cost of the program is $59 per person.

Training will be hands-on in a computer lab setting. In order to reserve a computer, pre-registration for the program is required. Pre-registration may be accomplished by calling 417-683-4409, or by emailing Gilliam at GilliamM@ missouri.edu.
