Billy Earl Williams

Billy Earl Williams, Sr. 65 years, 6 months, 19 days old, passed away on July 24, 2016 at his home. Billy was born Jan. 5, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa, to Bert Earley and Frances Jean (Dunkin) Williams.
Billy was retired from working for the Local #309 Laborers Union out of Rock Island, Ill. He worked there for 30 years.
On Nov. 13, 1975,  Billy and Cindy Ann Prine were united in marriage in Trenton, Mo., and to this union three children were born.
Billy was a Christian and had been baptized by Pastor Oren Alcorn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and visiting with friends and family.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bert Eugene Williams; and a niece, Kelly Lynn Williams.
Billy is survived by his wife, Cindy, of the home; three children and their spouses, Billy Jr. and Holly Williams, Ava, Mo., Jessica Williams and Tracy Morris, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Michael and Jesecca Williams, Ava, Mo.; nine grandchildren, T.J., Billy, Michael, Cassy, Abby, Aaden, Payton, Brody, and Mercy; two nephews, Bert Williams, Bettendorf, Iowa, and Brad Williams, Eldridge, Iowa; his mother-in-law, Eileen Anderson, Squires, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.
I Thessalonians 4:13-14: “But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”
Cremation services for Billy are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo. No memorial services are planned per Billy’s request. Memorial contributions may be made to Ava Area Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 116, Ava, MO 65608.
