Frances A Lambert

Frances A Lambert, 75 years, 7 months, and 8 days old, passed to Heaven on May 15, 2016, at her home in Springfield, Mo., with her family by her side.

Frances was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Urbana, Ohio, to William McKinley and  Mamie Cevilla (Glass) Reams. She graduated from Urbana High School.

Frances was a resident of Springfield moving from Ava, Mo.
She was retired from working at Emerson Electric in Ava. She had also worked as a food handler for the U. S. Army.

On June 21, 1983, Frances and Billy Lambert were united in marriage in Junction City, Kan. Frances was a Christian and a member of the First Christian Church in Junction City, Kan. She enjoyed planting flowers every spring, cooking, feeding hummingbirds and watching birds. Frances loved caring for people. She treated everyone as if they were her own.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her foster parents, Virgil and Edith Taylor, and her first husband, William Edward Jackson.

Frances is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Lambert, Springfield, Mo.; two children, Tanya Sue Jackson, Springfield, Mo., and Andy Jackson and wife, Tammy, Wilmington, N.C.; two stepsons, Darrell Lambert, Toole, Utah, and Gene Lambert, Selina, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Andrew Jackson (currently serving in the U.S. Navy), Makayla Jackson, Nicolas Watson and Trinity Watson, Matt Lambert, Chipper Lambert (currently serving in the U.S. Army), Skyler Lambert and Trae Lambert; one brother, Nelson Reams, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; foster brother, Larry Taylor, Springfield, Ohio, and foster sister, Sarah Keeran, Urbana, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Frances will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Mo., with burial in the Evans Cemetery, east of Ava. Visitation was Wednesday, May 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating is Pastor Dale Garrison. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
