Erec Lee Hambelton
Erec Lee Hambelton, 40 years, 0 months, and 1 day old, passed away on Feb. 19, 2016 from a vehicle accident in Wright County, Mo.
Erec was born Feb. 18, 1976 in Mountain Grove, Mo., to Terry Lee and Ladena Ann (Lambert) Hambelton.
Erec was a resident of the Ava community. He was currently working as Caregiver in Van Buren, Mo., at an assisted living group home.
On April 27, 1995, Erec and Leighla Ward were united in marriage in Hartville, Mo., and to this union three children were born.
Erec was a Christian and baptized at Camp Joy. Erec’s hobbies were fishing, playing pool, loved being outdoors, floating in his kayak and most of all loved being with his family.
Erec was preceded in death by nephew, Christopher Boyd, and his grandparents, Emmertt and Una Lambert.
Erec is survived by three children, Trenton Hambelton, Stephanie Haden and husband, Fred, and Tanna Hambelton and fiance, Jerry Pickel; his mother and stepfather, Ladena Ann and Robert Severson, Ava, Mo.; his father, Terry Lee Hambelton; one granddaughter on-the-way, Everly; five siblings, Leanna Boyd, Norwood, Mo., Judson Wall, Ozark, Mo., Emert Wall, Ava Mo., Tonya Nelson, Norwood, Mo., and Sasha Hambelton; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Erec were Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Eaton Cemetery, east of Ava. Officiating was Pastor Buddy Boyd. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shiner’s Hospital for Children.
