Miller-Hall Reunion Held

The annual 29th Miller-Hall Reunion was held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Ava Community Center. There were 45 relatives and friends in attendance.

Margaret Rosseau was spokesperson for the day. Dwayne Davis asked the blessing before the potluck lunch was served.

Pictures were taken for the scrapbook. Lots of family stories and history was shared. Janelle Miller Scudder shared information and memories of her grandfather, Fountain Miller.

Youngest – Woody James Hill; oldest lady – Nora Hunsaker; oldest man – Delmar Rosseau; newlyweds – Nora and Lee, coming farthest – Debbie Wise.

Games – Put the Nose on the Pumpkin and Candy Guessing. All children received a treat bag.

Reminder: the quilt blocks for the 30th Reunion Quilt are due by Jan. 1, 2015.

Everyone seemed to have an enjoyable day. We are looking forward to the 30th Miller-Hall Reunion next year to be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Ava Community Center.
