“O God, thou knowest my foolishness and my sins are not hid from thee,” Psalms 69:5.

Wednesday morning I went to visit my brother, Wilford, and Rosella Clayton and Parker Cook.

Thursday morning I was home when I got the paper, I opened it to find out that our classmate, Doug Holt of Sparta, had passed on. So Gary and I hurried around to Ava for his funeral. It was at noon. Doug was always happy about his grandchildren. He was always emailing me about something, rather it was about his grandchildren or death of a classmate. I will miss that. My prayers are for the family.

After that Gary and I went over and visited his mother, Maxine Turner, and his sister, Vicki Goodman.

We had a get-together at Ralph and Dana Brazeal’s home. Those at the cookout Sunday afternoon were Honie Johnson, Tiffanee Brooks, Zoe Shull, Steven and Annabelle Johnson, Wyatt and Liviya Wharton, John, Zamber and Cole Little, Dara, Bailey and Howard Strong, Del, Fanya Scott, Howard and Ella Faye Mitchell, Gary and me.
