Mt. Tabor Church

We began with singing, and bringing our prayers for our families, friends and neighbors to the Lord. We continue to have so many who are bereaved, and in need of salvation, please remember to pray for each of these.

Brother Ric read from Romans 7:15, though we live in tough times and have trials and tribulations, we can be overcomers if we ask and trust in the Lord.

An early reminder for Old Folk’s Day, September 14, at 2 p.m. Make your plan to join us for songs, poems and remembrances, and invite your friends and neighbors.

Myrl Cox celebrated her birthday recently and her children, Paul, Jeanne and Pat and Ronnie, brought lunch and enjoyed cake and ice cream with her. Paul comes often to do yard work for her, which she appreciates.

Ronnie and Pat enjoyed a few days caring for their grandchildren, Jadon and Kayley, before school started in West Plains.

Jeanne Cox and Garrett visited with Myrl Cox, one day.

Bill and Cathy Lansdown, Kenneth and Carla Aborn, joined Ronnie and Pat Lansdown for pizza and cards, recently.

Company for Tom and Jewell Elliott this past week was Ralph and Wanda Hedrick, Steve and Vonda Stine, James Elliott, LeAnna Elliott, Makayla and Logan, Jim and Carla Hearod, Kay Hutchison, Susan Klepac, and Mike Loftin.

Martin Hathcock accompanied John and Jo Stephens to Gainesville, Tuesday, for the funeral of Brother Alford Allen, former pastor of Mt. Tabor Church.

Lucille DeBerry spent a few days with her brother, Harold and Kay Hutchison, last week.

Danny and Kim Clements brought their grandson, River Clements, to visit Harold and Kay Hutchison, last week, while mom, Lindsey, was working.

Sister Maxine Lund was the speaker at the Ladies Prayer Brunch at Liberty Church in Isabella, Saturday morning, accompanied by Kay Hutchison.

Visitors with Harold and Kay, Monday, were Phillip McFarlin and Martin Hathcock.
