Sunday, August, 10, was another beautiful Lord’s Day here in the Ozarks. The view from our church is awesome. I think one can see almost to Arkansas on a clear morning. A beautiful place to recharge your spiritual batteries!! We had a good crowd out for church this Sunday. I believe children are our future church and we were blessed with 12 in Sunday school with several more coming in for church with their parents. God is good. He gives us blessings, hears and answers our prayers, sends angels to help keep us safe, even when we don’t know we are in danger!!!!!
Our morning service started with scripture reading from Psalms and opening prayer led by Brother Larry. After Sunday school, the kids sang two songs. Happy birthday wishes go out to Carolyn and her granddaughter, Hayley. Get well prayers to Barbara this week. We enjoyed Glenna bringing her guitar and joining Hazel in playing for our congregation Sunday night. I know God blesses those who use their talents to praise him. Bible school was a big success according to the ones who got to be there with 39 kids attending, plus lots of adults helping out. I know everyone who put in effort to help was blessed. A sure sign that your VBS is successful is when the children wish it could go on another week!
Janie is very grateful to her sweet niece for getting rid of the culprit who was eating all her eggs as fast as the hens could lay them!!!!! Country gals aren’t afraid of anything, even snakes!!!!!
We are looking forward to our service next Sunday and would like to invite you to come worship with us if you don’t have a church home. And remember….it is a great comfort to know that God has His hands on the steering wheel of the universe. “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?,” Jeremiah 32:27.
