We have been blessed this past Sunday morning and evening by Bro. Bub Coonce. Not only chastised by the message, but blessed, lifted up and brought to attention on some issues.
Phil. 1:20, 21, it should be our earnest expectation and our hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed and, but have boldness in our walk with Jesus Christ.
Read Romans 14:7 and 8, it’s not all about I, me, mine. Verse six for none of us live to himself.
What have you done for Christ today, this week, this month or this year?
Bro. Bud talked about John 5:1-7. The man at the pool of Bethesda, a man lay there unable to get in the troubled water. He told Jesus, “I have no man to help me.” What have you done for Christ today? Churches have lost and are losing their power. We have lost our love for fellow man. It’s I, me and mine. We need, today, a moving of God in our lives and the churches.
The evening message was soul searching also. I Kings 8, the ark of the covenant was coming home to the temple God had given Solomon. the instructions to build. Only the best of everything was to be used. Our body is the temple where God dwells. How clean is our temple, has it been dusted and cleaned lately? God will not dwell in a dirty temple.
Come see us at the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and N.W. 7th St. Satan may win some battles, but he has already lost the war.
