Darlene Lister brought me some egg cartons last Monday.
I took my news and eggs in last Tuesday and then I went by Anita Smith’s and gave her a late birthday card then I stopped by Charlotte Bock’s to see how she was doing then I dropped my news off and came on home.
I went back to town Wednesday and took Charlotte a loaf of bread and then I stopped by Patty Kraft’s sale and I had just missed her by about ten minutes, but I sat and visited with her daughter, Angie.
I took eggs to the ladies in the courthouse Thursday and came on home. Kendra came by later on and thanked me for her birthday card and we set and visited until Trae got off work and he took her out to supper for her birthday.
I went by Patty’s sale before I went to town and got some of their fruit jars.
Friday and Saturday I stayed inside all day out of the heat.
Sunday after church I went over to Martin Hathcock’s and took him some of my cornbread that I made Saturday. Martin wasn’t feeling to well Sunday.
I went to James and Kristie’s that evening and ate supper with them and had Kendra’s birthday cake and the hope chest gift she received. Those present were Brittany Kutz and friend, J.K., Justin and Tara Coonce and Jett, Lakota Blakey, Kendra Dering and fiance, Trae Shelton, Hellen Blakey, James and Kristie. It was good to see little Jett again. He sure is growing and we had a good time together.
Let’s keep those prayers going for our sick folks.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all the ones who have lost a loved one.
Let’s keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
