Sunday morning service was opened with the Praise Team leading us in a song. Then Brother Roberts took prayer requests and had prayer. We had a baptismal service .
Brother Roberts brought the message from Matthew 7:21-23,
“False Hopes of Heaven.”
This Wednesday is pool night. A good time for everyone to enjoy a good time swimming, visiting and eating.

The past week, we have been busy visiting with Delmar’s brother, Marvin, and Coralee Rosseau and their two grandsons from Yakima, Washington. We attended get-to-gethers almost every night with them. On Wednesday evening, they met at our house for supper and visiting. Those attending were Marvin and Coralee Rosseau, Ray and Delpha Roller, Gary and Shirley Trent, Faye Keith, Beth Stafford, Johnathon Snelson, and Raymond Bricker.
Others visiting us this week were, my mom, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, Raylee and Caydee Burton, Bevy Moore, and Donna Bannister.
We are sorry to hear of the passing of a lifelong friend and neighbor, Gene Conley. Prayers go out to his family. We also are praying for the quick recovery of Rex Hartin and Donnie Pruitt, who both suffered strokes.
Well, Delmar has some green tomatoes that should be getting ripe before long. I would fry some of the green ones, but I think he might not be too happy about that.
Delmar is busy as usual, putting a porch across the front so we can sit out there when it is raining and enjoy watching it rain without getting wet.
Until next week stay clear of the storms of life.
