Sunday morning service was opened with prayer requests and prayer. The band played and sang hymns. The special was done by Margaret Rosseau.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Hebrews 11:30, “The Walls of Jericho.”

Well we have been busy this week with birthday parties, visiting the sick and getting ready for a garage sale..

The weather has been pretty predictable (sunny one minute and rainy the next). The moisture is sure needed though, so we will not complain. We remember last Summer when it got so hot and dry.

One day, Delmar took a short roadtrip and stopped by at Vanzant to visit with River Stillwood for an hour or so. It is always a breath of fresh air to visit River.

I heard from Lena Goss and Lorene Maloney this week and they are both home, doing really good after their surgeries.

I have been to Springfield visiting Carl Peak who has been in the hospital with pancreatic cancer, he still needs prayers for his recovery.

Kay Peak and I were eating at Golden Corral and a friend, Nancy Davidson, I hadn’t seen for a long time stopped and visited with us a while.

Until next week remember to let the ones you love know that you love them.
