Last Weeks News – Here it is Monday, June 16th. Where has this year gone? It is a beautiful summer like day. Maybe I can shed my sweatshirt.
We didn’t go to church yesterday, but I heard a good sermon on the radio.
Ann Collins recently spent two weeks with her daughter, Linda, and George Owens in Bristow, OK. They came by here and she accompanied them to Aniston, Alabama for the high school graduation of her great grandson, Ryan Owens. They spent two days there and then came back to Bristow. She also visited Joy and Kevin Hope, Austin and Josh. Then Linda and Josh brought her home and spent a couples of nights.
Extending my sympathy to all who have recently lost loved ones. There have been so many here lately.
Get-well wishes to Dovie Dooms, who had back surgery.
Yesterday, Sunday, Carol Wise, Riley O’Shea, Issac Collins and yours truly visited Ann Collins. She had a really good dinner.
My visitors today (Monday) were Sharon Driskell this morning, Janet and Katlyn Smith this afternoon.
Here is part of a verse from James 4:14, “For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away.” The older we get the more we see how true this is.

This Weeks News – Since I failed to get my items mailed last week, I’ll try to write some more.
Carol and Riley came down to Ann Collins’ on Wednesday and weed eated her yard.
Trish Russell visited me Thursday evening for a while.
Ann and I went over to Bev’s Beauty Shop Friday. We got to visit with April Shannon and Bobbie White while we were there.
Bill Emery has doctor’s appointments in Springfield both Monday and Tuesday of this week.
Bertha Scherer has been sick with a possible stomach virus. She is better this morning, but still weak, and River has possibly had strep throat.
After church Sunday, Ann Collins and I went and ate lunch at Dora then we came by and visited Ted and Karen Collins.
