Sunday, June 1st. Well her it is the first of June. What is the old saying, time and tide wait for no man. Thankful for all the nice showers we’ve been getting.
All the cemeteries I’ve seen are decorated, mowed and look so pretty.
Andy and Sharleen Daughterty came down from Grove Springs last Sunday evening and we went to the Hurst and Denlow Cemeteries. They will leave for Canada the last of this month.
Tracy came after me Monday and I stayed until Tuesday evening at their house. I always enjoy time spent with them.
Karen Fredrick and Janet Smith had a birthday party Saturday for Agnes Williams, it was her 90th birthday. Those attending were Bertha and Dean Scherer, Ella May Daughterty, Billy Hurst, Cheryl Sartor, Carol Wise, Riley O’Shea, Sirena and Jonah Melton, Cole and Izzy, Paul, Janet and Katlyn Smith, Tyler (Katlyn’s boyfriend), Karen and Doug Fredrick.
Glenda Lee was also honored with a birthday party Saturday at the community building at Vanzant.
Beverly Emery visited me awhile this evening (Sunday).
Sirena, Jonah, Cole and Izzy ate supper Sunday night with Bertha and Dean Scherer.
Extending deepest sympathy to the ones who have recently lost loved ones. Seems there have been so many deaths lately.
Birthdays for the month of June: Levi Evans the 3rd, I think, my great grandson, Carter Chambers will be 5 the 13th, Debbie Hutchison the 17th, Don Moss the 18th, Isabell Bradshaw the 24th.
