Opening our morning service with prayer was Doug Miller.

In our Sunday school class we studied obedience to the Lord. Consider our ways. Are we putting God first in our lives, often we spend most of our time doing for ourselves while we neglect the work of God.

Happy Anniversary wishes went out to Wanda and Dean Casady for 32 years of marriage.

Our special song was by Narvil Tetrick, Faye Allen, Wendell Deo and Wanda Casady.

Pastor Lafferty’s message was from Matthew, chapter 19. Things are impossible for men, but with God all things are possible. It’s God’s will for all to be saved.

In our evening service our special was a reading by Narvil Tetrick. Songs by Keith and Regina Lafferty and also a group made up of Wanda, Narvil, Joie, Faye, Wendell and Keith.

The evening message was from I Corinthians, chapter 14. If we have not charity, we have nothing. Charity is kind and it never fails. With faith, hope and charity, the greatest is charity.

Just a reminder of Gentry Church Fun Day Saturday, June 7, 9 a.m. to 12 noon for children 3 to 12 years.
