Darlene Sorensen sang a special song before Pastor Bob Sorensen brought a synopsis of Psalm 37 on the righteous and the wicked.
The wicked are defined as workers of iniquity, evildoers, enemies of God, and transgressors. They are the people who plot against the just, to defeat and destroy them. They do not want the standards of righteousness limiting them in any way. If they will not exalt righteousness, God himself will cut them off. The Lake of Fire will be their resting place. But, there is hope, if they will trust in the Lord, they will be delivered.
The righteous are those who had been wicked and were made righteous by the Blood of the Lamb. They have chosen to love God, to depart from evil, and to do good, and were delivered. Now they are reminded not to fret because of evildoers, but to delight and trust in the Lord. They are promised that God will preserve them forever. It is a choice that everyone must make for himself. Choose between heaven with God or hell without him.
