Turkey Creek Cemetery

The Turkey Creek Cemetery held it’s annual meeting on May 14, 2015 at 7:00 at the cemetery. The meeting was called to order by Tom Vinson. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as was the financial report.

The Carmichael family will continue with mowing the cemetery. The only new grave was Davidson. The parking area has been cleaned and the old community building tore down and a big tree cut made the area look different. We had general discussion of cemetery upkeep.

A motion by Tom Vinson was made to put John Paul Pitts back on the board and seconded by Pat Carmichael.

Board members are John Paul Pitts, Sharon Sanders, Tom Vinson, Barbara Breshears, secretary.

Those attending the meeting were Tom Vinson, Virgil DeVore, Eddie and Sharon Sanders, John Paul and Rachel Pitts and Kim, Pat Carmichael, Jack and Barbara Breshears. The meeting was adjourned.
