The Sunday service was opened with a video giving recognition to our service men past and present. The Praise Team brought some very inspirational Praise songs. Brother Roberts brought the message from II Timothy 4:7-8, “Life Is A Fight.” We were sorry to hear of the passing of a good friend and Sister-In-Christ, June Johnson. We attended Happy Home Church together. This past week has been busy, with my sister, Helen Cook, having surgery on her wrist and Carl Peak being in the hospital. Carl is waiting for chemo to be started then it is planned for him to have a major surgery. We continue to pray for his full recovery to a healthy life. We heard also that Arleen Henningson fell and is now home recovering. Delmar and I visited several cemeteries over the weekend. We both have family buried at scattered places. One day, Bevy Moore and I visited three cemeteries then ate lunch with my mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams. We then visited Helen and Earnie Cook and we saw Dewayne and Misty Cook while there. It seems that Delmar’s tomato and pepper plants are enjoying the rain showers they are receiving. The grass is growing fast too. Michelle and Roy Johnson visited us one evening, also, Beth Stafford, Johnathon, Vern Deatherage, Bevy Moore, Donna Bannister. It was good to hear that Dorothy Davis got to come home from the hospital on Monday. Until next week, remember that Rome was not built in a day, so pace yourself.
