Well, we missed church on Sunday morning so I could attend the graduation celebrations at Nixa, for my granddaughter, Hailey Carter. It just doesn’t seem like she should be old enough to graduate and with honors and full scholarships to MSU.
I spent the night in Nixa with my grandson, Maeson Carter, and we had a good time. On Monday, after I dropped him off at school, I went to Mansfield and spent the morning with Carl and Deana Kay Peak. Carl is not doing good. He has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Prayer warriors are needed right now for that family.
Delmar has been fighting a cold this week, but is feeling better now.
This weather is beautiful and we are enjoying opening the doors and windows for fresh air in the house.
We have a great grandson graduating from 8th grade at Mansfield on Tuesday evening, Lane Hanger. We are very proud of all our kids, grands and greats.
Delmar has a few tomato and pepper plants, some of which are blooming. He also has a few hills of potato plants. I think he is missing doing a big garden, but maybe next year we can do a bigger one.
I talked to Aunt Violet Morris and she had taken a fall but nothing broken, just scraped and bruised and sore. Uncle Hugh has good days and bad days…just never know.
We know that our days are numbered and when it is our time to meet our maker we will do just that.
Well I went to the MOCH fitness center for my first time for exercise and did pretty good, but may have a few sore spots.
Until next week, keep the Peak family in your prayers.
