Ellis stopped by last Monday evening and put a picture of him and baby Owen on my phone then I went to our O.E.S. meeting and we had a good turn out.
I took my news and eggs in that evening.
Kristie Blakey stopped by on her way home last Tuesday.
Nina Carter and I went to Uncle Rooster’s Wednesday evening and just as we got up there they closed the doors and we went back to the square and ate in a restaurant on the west side and enjoyed a piece of birthday cake with a four year old boy.
Evelyn Bryan stopped by Thursday and picked up her eggs and I gave her some surprise lily bulbs and them Mike Loftin came and got him some bulbs. While I was digging some more bulbs up Steve Duckworth came and mowed my grass Friday.
George Blakey called me Saturday morning and said that John Goss Jr. had passed away. I guess with a heart attack. His funeral will be this Wednesday at two in Harrisonville, MO. Kay Hutchison stopped Saturday and took me with her down to the Missouri Association and then we brought Martin Hathcock back with us.
Violet stopped and picked up her eggs when I got back home. Ellis ate dinner with me Sunday after I got back from church.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers. My prayers and sympathy goes out to the John Goss Jr. family and all the other Goss’ and all the others who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
