Spring is here, at least for today. Everything is starting to green up and early flowers are blooming. The birds are singing and it is beautiful. Sunday was a nice day and we had a good service both Sunday morning and evening. I love living where we live in these Missouri hills.
We are planning to have Easter Sunrise Services at Mt. Olive on April 20th. Services will begin at 6:30 a.m., and afterward we will have breakfast. Please plan on coming and joining us. Sunrise service is special. We are celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. We will be having worship service at 10:00 a.m. instead of 11:00 a.m. that day, with no Sunday school.
Sympathy goes out this week to the Paul Goodwin family. Sharon Kay (Nelson), or just “Kay” to everyone who knew her, is another person who lost their battle to the dreaded disease of cancer. Prayers go out to her family and others also who have lost loved ones.
The word was preached from Luke 14th at worship on Sunday morning. At the evening service we were blessed with some good songs plus another good message.
Until next week, may God bless and keep you safe. Seen on a church sign, “If you tell the truth, you won’t have to remember anything.” Have a wonderful day and plan on attending church next Sunday. We would like to invite you to Mt. Olive if you don’t have a home church.
