Individuals Charged With Burglarlies In Wright, Douglas Counties

While assisting the Wright County Sheriff’s office in an investigation, on March 27 Douglas and Wright county authorities recovered a bow and gun in Douglas County that had allegedly been stolen in Wright County.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 19-year-old Ava man who was charged with felony receiving stolen property and is still incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail pending a $15,000 bond.
Three additional 17-year-olds were arrested and issued citations for misdemeanor receiving stolen property.
Two subjects were arrested in Wright County as a result of the investigation. The duo, ages 17 and 19 and both from Mansfield, were charged with one count each of burglary and theft/stealing. Both are Class C felonies.
Names of those involved are not being released by the Herald until the charges can be confirmed.
There are several firearms and electronics that have not been recovered as of this date. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office are asking for your help.
