Our Sunday school superintendent, Bro. Lance opened worship service by welcoming everyone, took prayer requests which were many, prayed over them. Then Holly and Danny led congregation in a song. We had handshaking. Bro. Lance read announcements about our upcoming revival in April, week of April 13th with Bro. Nathan Humbyrd. After congregational singing the children did the penny march.
Bro. David Lafferty played piano and sang for the special. After David sang, Bro. Lance gave an awesome testimony about how God is working in his life.
Our Pastor David Welsh chose verses from II Timothy, chapter 4 and verses from Revelation, chapter 22. What an awesome service and message. Several were prayed over with needs.
Our attendance was down with just 67, but the Holy Spirit was present. Bro. Lance dismissed us in prayer.
Sunday night service was dismissed for those who wanted to attend Fifth Sunday night singing at Pleasant Ridge.
Our Tuesday night special prayer meeting for our revival was well attended. Pastor Dave chose scripture from Acts 2:2, also I Kings 19:11-12. We all gathered at altar and prayed. We also had a nice crowd for Wednesday night Bible study. We’re studying the book of Acts, chapter 2.
Aunt Naida Hartley and Ronnie came out to visit Sue one day. We had a very nice visit. We had not seen them for a very long time.

We had real good food.

Norma Cross and Pauline Richards returned home Sunday evening after spending several days in Claremore, Oklahoma. While there they attended the annual Jenkins sister party which are the daughters of the late Lee and Mavie (Applegate) Jenkins. Sisters are Sue Johnson, Georgia Sanders and Pauline and Norma. One sister passed away a couple of years ago. Her name was Retha Haas. This year for fun on Thursday we went to the nail and toe spa. On Friday we went to the Hair Parlor. Saturday we had a dirty santa gift exchange then lunch, visiting and playing games, as well as taking pictures. Besides the sisters we always invite our nieces and great nieces. There was over 35 people in attendance. A few guys came by later. We had our party at Georgia’s house this year.
Kyle Thompson spent Saturday and Sunday with Jaden Hicks.
