Bonnie Phipps said she was doing just fine, but didn’t make it to church Sunday.

Doris Morrison came by last Monday evening and took me to our O.E.S. meeting.

Carol Moore came last Tuesday and took me to town to vote and take my news and eggs in.

Ellis Blakey babysitted with his granddaughter, Alexia Blakey, and they came by and visited with me for a while. It was good to see Alexia.

Darlene Lister and Wally and Shirley Jessen came and picked up their eggs.

I had .8-1/2 of an inch in my rain gage last Monday when it stopped raining.

Jo stopped and picked up John’s birthday card and pie Thursday, but his birthday was Wednesday.

Steve Duckworth stopped by to see how I was doing and visited a while.

Friday I received a call that my cousin, Fern Bellew, had passed away. They will have her funeral this Wednesday up home.

Mark brought Mark Weston by after he got out of school and I gave him his birthday card and cake. His birthday was the next day. That evening I went down and cut all the grape vines off of my apple tree and it looks nice now.

Saturday was a busy day for me. I washed three loads of clothes and hung the blanket outside to dry and then I raked the leaves and limbs in piles that was in the front yard then I went inside and dropped in the chair for awhile. Then Shirley Riley came over and visited awhile.

Sunday has been a rainy day and is still raining while I am writing this so I won’t know how much I will have until in the morning. I got .6 of an inch Sunday night.

I rode to church with Martin and then when Sunday school was over Monica Reemes came in for church so she took me home. Monica and I went down to Johnathan and Annie Blakey’s to see Alexia and Owen and I got to hold my great grandson for the first time and he sure is a handsome little fellow. He weighs 5 lbs. 10 oz.. Yes we took pictures, you know we did.

When we got back to the house we ate our dinner and set and talked until Joel came.

Our sick folks sure do need our prayers so keep them coming. My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.

Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
