I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said she didn’t like this rain and damp weather but went to church Sunday.
I took my news and eggs in last Monday and then I went by Tom and Mary Martha Williams to see how Mary Martha was doing. She had just came home from the hospital and she said that she was going to make it.
Their daughter, Stephanie, had come down to stay with them for awhile.
Nina Carter stopped by on her way home Wednesday evening.
I had 1.3 of rain in my gauge Thursday when it stopped.
James stopped by this morning before going to work and then I took eggs to the courthouse and I took my sister, Margaret Allen’s quilt in to be quilted then I paid some bills and bought some groceries before coming home.
My brother, Bernie Simmons, and wife, Thelma, lost their oldest son, Robert Simmons, last week.
Saturday my sister, Mollie, called me and said that our cousin, Fern Bellew, is real bad and they have hospice with her and her two other sisters, Lulubell Bellew and Mary Ellen Alexander, aren’t very well either. There are so many sick folks out there so just pray for all the sick folks and that will cover all.
Sunday Doris Morrison stopped and picked me up so I could go to church with her at Oren Alcorn’s church. The O.E.S. members were suppose to go with their Worthy Matron to church Sunday. Those that came for Doris, our Worthy Matron, were Connie Bacorn, Karen Heriford, Wally and Shirley Jessen and Hellen Blakey. That is all I counted so if I missed any one I am sorry. We had lots that were sick and couldn’t come.
After the service was over Doris brought me home and I went to Mt. Tabor Church where I took over my class which had already started.
Monica and Joel came up after I got home from church and after they left I cooked dinner for Nina Carter and me and after we were through Ellis came by and visited. I gave him the loaf of bread he was supposed to get a few days ago.
Lets keep praying for all our sick folks. My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
