Brother Leon Turner brought today’s lesson about Put Your Money To Work! Please read 2 Corinthians 8:10-15, 9:1-5. The money that we posess isn’t really ours, it is God’s! He allows us to have everything that we have. What we do with it is up to us. We need to always be ready to give when the need arises. God expects us to be good stewards of the money He has allowed us to have. We can’t take on every cause but the ones that are put in our path, we must do our very best.
Sometimes, we may not have extra money to give but we can give in other ways. For example, you might mow someone’s yard who isn’t able or doesn’t have a mower. You might bake for someone. You might visit someone in the nursing home or someone who has recently lost a loved one. Of course, you can always pray for someone, being a Christian gives you a direct line to God! He loves to hear from you from the smallest things to the very biggest things. Our love for God leads us to love one another. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34
Pastor Leonard Hart brought today’s Sermon about “The Good Samaritan, Whose Job Is It Anyway?” Please read Mark 10:46. May everything we do in our lives be pleasing to the Lord. If we see someone who needs help and we are able to help, God expects us to help them. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40
In the Bible we read about a blind man sitting beside the road counting on the generosity of strangers for help. Jesus was also passing by and heard his cry and healed him! Today we don’t really picture people sitting beside the road waiting for help , but there is need all around us. One doesn’t have to look very far to discover someone in need of God’s great love. How are things between you and the Lord today? Are you lost or saved? All you must do to be saved is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and that He died for you and rose again. Repent of your sins and receive Him into your heart today. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 17
Salvation is not difficult, BELIEVE, REPENT AND RECEIVE JESUS TODAY! He loves every living person, just call on Him!
