Mt. Tabor Church began with a verse of “Amazing Grace”, followed by Supt. Brother Martin reading the devotion. We had many, many prayer requests, answers to prayers, sympathy to the bereaved. Our thoughts go out to the family of Doris Elliott, sister-in-law of Tom Elliott, of this community.
We were especially glad to have several visitors in our morning service, we welcome them and invite them back.
Brother Ric read from John 10:7-10, continuing his sermon series on, I Am, this week being, I am the door. Study this and you will see there is only one way to salvation and heaven.
Mt. Tabor was host for the 4th Sunday Singing, with a large crowd, good singing and fellowship. I’m sure Gentry Church would appreciate your attendance next month.
Bonita Winingham arrived at the home of her parents, Tom and Jewell Elliott, Friday afternoon, to be with family and friends and attend the funeral of her aunt, Doris Elliott. Others visiting at various times with the Elliotts were James and Tammy Elliott, Shaun and LeAnna Elliott, MaKayla and Logan, Jim and Carla Hearod, Albert Elliott and Hellen Blakey.
Ronda Soto visited one day with her dad, Martin Hathcock.
Jewell Elliott and Kay Hutchison visited Friday afternoon with John and Jo Stephens.
