Talked with Bonnie Phipps Sunday and she said she had gone to church and had come home cold. I told her as long as she was in a car and the sun was shining in on you it was warm but the wind was chilly.
I took my news and eggs in last Monday and while I was in there I went by the Masonic Hall and set it up for our O.E.S. Friendship night that evening and we had a nice turn out from other Chapters.
Ellis came by last Tuesday after he got off from work.
I took eggs in to the ladies at the courthouse Wednesday and then I went over by Carol Moore’s and visited with her a while.
I took my cans off Friday and while I was in town I went by and saw Tara and Jett and he was as glad to see me as I was to see him.
I took some food over to Doris Elliott’s family Saturday morning and then I went on over to the funeral home for the visitation. I left there about 9:40 to catch Tom and Mary Martha Williams and Doris Morrison and then we went to Branson Masonic Lodge where the official inspection of the 27th District Grand Chapter of Missouri Order of the Eastern Star was held. Monica Reemes met us there to watch.
Well we got to finish church this Sunday and the Lord provided a beautiful sunny day for our singing at 2:00. We had 13 churches there and I think the last count was 59 all together, the singing was good and the guys that played instruments were wonderful.
The next singing will be April 27 at the Gentry Church.
Let us keep all the sick folks in our prayers this week. My prayers and sympathy goes out to the Elliott families and all the others who have lost a loved one.
Let us keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
