“If the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” I Peter 4:18.
Thursday afternoon Gary and I went to Ava and visited with his mother, Maxine Turner, and his sister, Vicki Goodman.
Friday evening Ronald Potter visited us.
Sunday morning before church I stopped in and visited a minute with Jean Plante. After church I stopped in at Kenerd and Norma Lawrence’s. Their son, Brent and family had been there the day before. Kenerd’s mother, Cora, was a good person and mother. He wanted me to remember her birthday on the 19th.
At True Hope Church Sunday Alice Morrison got to drive for the first time after having open heart surgery. She went to Colorado in December and after being there awhile and after she had a few dreams of heaven, her daughter-in-law, who is a nurse said it was time to go to the ER. Alice didn’t have any chest pains, but after a stress test she had three bypasses. We all were happy to see her. She got back home the end of last month.
Another man that came to our church before moving to Oklahoma, Carl Coffey passed on last month at the age of 90. Sympathy to that family.
If you don’t have anything to do, go visit people, the sick, the ones in nursing homes. Remember our military people, pray for all these people.
We need to get more wood to burn, but it’s hard to get through the mud in the woods to get it out.
Happy birthday to John Little on the 19th and Logan David on the 25th. Logan will be 12 years old. Happy Birthday to my daughter, Honie Johnson on the 26th.
Have a great week.
Oh yes, Clear Springs Church has cancelled their Fifth Sunday Meeting in March.
