T.O.P.S.

T.O.P.S. was called to order by Sharon at 3:45. There was a combined weight loss of 2 pounds with 11 weighing in, and Liz was the highest loser. The lesson was “12 Ways to Stay Motivated” and was given by Margaret L. Here are just a few of them.

Remember that motivation has its own rhythm, and when you feel it lag, give yourself a break and remember the good habits you’ve started. Also, quit comparing yourself to a fashion models, but post photos of you at your healthiest weight. And if you feel down on yourself because you haven’t as much as you wanted, shift your focus to gratitude for your blessings, and for the wonderful way your body works.

T.O.P.S (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a non-profit international weight loss support group open to anyone 7 years of age or older. T.O.P.S meets from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the basement of the courthouse. Come and visit us to find out more about T.O.P.S. We welcome anyone looking to get and stay healthy.
