There was some excitement last Wednesday night when Sucketta Satterfield was coming home from work when she stopped her car and got out to open their gate when a man said he was sorry and shot her and took her car. The man drove the car to Ava and took another one. Sucketta was airlifted to a Springfield hospital. She is back home doing fine now.

Gary and I went to Ava last Friday to visit his mother, Maxine Turner and sister, Vicki Goodman.

Last Saturday night, Zoe Shull got to spent the night with her grandparents, Ralph and Dana Brazeal.

Monday, Gary and I went to Theodosia and visited with Vic and Jean Plant. After that we went to Uncle Rayford Clayton’s.

Christmas afternoon, Gary and I went to my niece, Dara and  husband, Ernest Strong’s home. Besides us there were Chelsey and Brayden Lansdown, Del, Fanya and Zane Scott, Cody Shanafelt, Howard and Bailey Strong, Howard Mitchell, Tiffanee Brooks and Zoe Shull and Steven Johnson, Ralph and Dana Brazeal, Ella Faye Mitchell, Cody Strong and Hannah Esterline, Honie Johnson, John, Tabitha, Stormi and Kasey Medlock and Oceanna Meile, Tafi, Shannon and Marti Yost, John, Zamber and Cole Little, Wyatt and Liviya Wharton. Wyatt was so happy to be getting his front teeth to come. He hasn’t had front teeth since age 2 and and he is learning to read now is what he told Grandma Dana.

Eddie and Linda Sears guests Christmas were sons, Terry Sears and family and Edward Sears and family.
