Tecumseh

January is half gone so time is swiftly passing by.

I was surprised to get letters from folks in Indiana who get my news column their way and mentioned having relatives in Howell County who they will be visiting this spring and they hope to come over to Tecumseh area to visit me.

I am a great-great aunt again as my great-nephew and wife, Houston and Emily Aronis have a baby girl who was bron Saturday, January 11th. They named her Savannah Ilene. She joins their three year old McKenna. They live in Springfield.

I appreciated the help from a friend during the coldest days. I still miss using my wood stove for heat, yet I am trying to adjust to propane heat.

Gainesville Chapter 4320 O.E.S. meets this Monday evening for their regular meeting.

Mahlon and Randi Schmucker united with Lilly Ridge Church membership this past Sunday. It is good to have them.

Maxine Smith is having more problems with bronchitis. Best wishes to her.

Sympathy to those who lost loved ones recently.

News is scarce this week so maybe there will be more next week.
