Sunday morning service was opened with prayer requests, prayer and praise. The Praise Team brought an uplifting array of songs for us to sing along and enjoy.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Revelation 2:8-11, “Letter to the Smyrna Church.”

It was good to be able to attend church, even though I started aching before the end, but, stayed with it anyway.

I am getting a little stronger each day and I am thankful.

One day last week, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams brought lunch and ate with us. Another day, Vicki Wall brought Supper for us. Another day Earnie and Helen Cook brought lunch and ate with us. Beth Stafford came over and helped with my laundry. Saturday evening Donna Bannister brought her two grandkids, Caidence and Conner Johnson to visit us. Aunt Bevy Moore came over and helped spoil them too. I have had phone calls from Texas, North Missouri and all around here just checking on us. Others visiting us this week were, Brother and Sister Roberts, Tony and Linda Stillings, Johnathon Snelson, Mandy Logan, Bevy and Gary Moore, Pauline Okhuysen, Julie Kookagey, Norman Rosseau. On Sunday, while the weather was warm and beautiful, Delmar and I went to eat supper with Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, at their cabin. They have an old fashioned wood cook stove and we had homemade biscuits cooked in the oven of it and skillet breakfast for supper. I ate so much it made me miserable, but, it sure was good. We also, had some of Stillings’ molasses for the biscuits…yummy.I told them that I wished everyone had a meal that good at least once a day, all over the world.

Until next week be thankful for that which you have.
