This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Lois Graham went to her niece and nehews, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Garrison’s on Saturday for Christmas. Other ones there were Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Thompkins and daughter of Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Garrison and family, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Graham, Marjorie Graham and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Garrison. We had a good dinner. Gary fixed the turkey and dressing and barbecued the ribs.
Kathy Coats visited Lois on Sunday. I appreciated the candy.
On the 28th the children of Norma Jones had their Christmas dinner in the activity room at Red Bud Village. All five children were present with their families. Also Miss Peggy Greene joined the group. There was a lot of laughter and picture taking and enough food for a small army.
Our hats are off to the staff and employees from Ava Drug and to the nice ladies that delivered goody bags to all ouf us here.
I appreciated the nice gift from the Douglas County Herald office employees and staff.
No other news turned in so not much to write about.
Now to Norma’s Adventures….
I “Norma” went to the farm Friday about one and stayed with the girls, Steven and Jacob. Then Saturday night the girls had their Christmas and a party for my birthday after we had our supper. The cakes were delicious. After the party it was back to town for me before the snow and ice started. Have a good week, stay warm and safe.
Until next week, Jesus loves you.
